Test Workflows
One very common way to test faxing is login to AE-EHR with your test provider, and view a patient chart. Select one note or other item (not the whole chart) and using the Fax... near the bottom of the screen or Right-clicking and selecting Fax (v11 only). This will initialize the Fax prompt where you can provide a fax/phone number in free text. When you have provided all of the required fields, hit the OK button. You can now view the status of your Fax in the print queue. Please note that when using a RightFax implementation that the communication from Touchworks only delivers the document to the RightFax server and that a faxed document with a status of 'Completed' doesn't necessarily mean that the fax was delivered to its final recipient.
