Using Rightfax with TWCSSSpooler

Prerequisites

• Ensure that the RightFax Client is properly installed on the Print Server
• Ensure the RightFax user specified in the CSS Manager Setup has the following permissions in RightFax Enterprise Fax Manager:

Configuration

• Select Start >> Control Panel >> AHS CSS Configuration Manager
• Verify that 'Print Center' is checked and 'Allow Faxing' (see below)

• Select the 'RightFax' tab and check the box 'Utilize RightFax for all fax jobs' and provide the appropriate server / authentication information.

Dialing Rules - RightFax Server

Some clients require a '9' before a 10-digit number for outbound calls/faxes
Long Distance also requires a '1' is added in front of area codes that are not local
To accomodate this, dialing rules may be setup in the RightFax Enterprise Fax Manager

• Create a new Dialing Rule under Dialing Plan:

• Edit the rule with the following properties (Make sure to replace "TOUCHWORKS" with the name of the user account that AE-EHR uses to access Right-Fax:

Testing

• Login into Touchworks
• Select Chart from the VTB.
• Select a test patient.
• Select the ChartViewer from the HTB.
• Select a specific document in ChartViewer and click the Fax button (this may require specific permissions).
• Provide a valid fax line and hit ok.
• Check to verify that the fax went through.
