View Multiple Notes in Chart Viewer
In v10, the Chart Viewer tab allowed users to highlight (with one left click) a note and have its contents appear in the right-hand pane. Users could jump around from note to note in this fashion to quickly review many notes. This exact display function no longer exists but a similar .NET version does.
In v11, the user can double-click any note in the chart viewer to open a new window and view its contents.
New users to v11 may notice that once they have the first note open, the old one-left-click-to-highlight action seems to close the viewbox. The box does not actually close, it just goes behind the main window because by clicking on another note in the list the user is making the main window the active window which brings it to the front. If you instead double-click the note in the list it should bring the viewer back to the front as it opens the note:
- Double click a note in chart viewer. (The viewer window opens and displays the note.)
- Move the viewer window so that you can still see the list of notes in the ChartViewer.
- Double-click a different note in chart viewer. (The viewer window displays the new note.)
If this does not work, make sure your double click action is set to View Note.
