This authorization is required in the ‘Prescribe Non Formulary Authorization Req’ gate is set to ‘Y’.
Break Glass If given this code, allows users to override document viewing security.
Can Prescribe This allows users to prescribe medication within the TouchWorks application.
Users given this code without the appropriate level of prescribing authority can start
a prescription to be authorized by the ordering physician.
