Assigning your V10 Groups to the V11 Specialties

Since V11 Note uses the V1 Specialities vs the V10 Groups, you will need to confirm that all of your V10 Groups are correctly mapped to their corresponding V11 Specialty. This was a task in Phase I, so it should already be done, but time passes and things change, so please confirm and perform the task if necessary.

Performing this task

    1. Extract your “Groups” SSMT content Category from your Test environment

Extract your “Specialties” SSMT Content Category from your Test environment Compare the two.

If all of your v10 Groups are assigned to a v11 Specialty you are all set. If one or more of your v10 Groups is not assigned to a Specialty you must perform the following task. (Normally the group is not mapped to the specialty because there is no corresponding Specialty. So we create a Specialty and map accordingly.)

  1. Login to TWAdmin
  2. Dictionaries
  3. Specialties
  4. Add a Specialty for each Group that has no corresponding Specialty
  5. Log out
  6. Log Into SSMT
  7. Extract the Groups to Specialty Mapping Content Category
  8. Assign the V10 Group to the new specialty
  9. Load and test
