Assigning your V10 Groups to the V11 Specialties

Since V11 Note uses the V1 Specialities vs the V10 Groups, you will need to make sure that all of your V10 Groups are mapped to their corresponding V11 Specialties. This was a task in Phase I, so it should already be done, but time passes and things change, so please confirm and perform the task if necessary.

Performing this Task

Login to your Live Environment and extract both the Groups-Specialty Mapping Content category and the Groups Content category.

Compare the Groups listed on the Groups extract to the Groups listed on the Groups-Specialty Mapping extract to see if all of your Groups are mapped. If they are, you are all set and the task is complete. If one or more of your v10 Groups is not assigned to a V11 Specialty you must get them assigned.

Looking at the Groups-Specialty Mapping spreadsheet you just extracted, determine if there is an existing Specialty listed that you could use to map your group to. If there is then all you need to do is map the group to the existing Specialty. If there is not an existing Specialty to assign to your Group you will need to create the Specialty and then assign it to your Group.

Login to SSMT from your Test environment and Extract the "Groups to Specialty Mapping" Content Category Determine if you have the Specialities you need to map your Groups to. If you do, simply map them by following the instructions found If you can map the Group(s) to an existing Specialty do so Assign the V10 Group to the new specialty
