Webcast Overview
This Tasking Concepts webcast outlines the fundamentals of tasking within the Allscripts EHR. The webcast includes a review of the front end workflow of tasking to include creating and working manual tasks, an explanation of system-generated tasks, a review of the task workspace, and an overview of the configuration aspects of setting up tasking in Enterprise.
Q&A
Q: Can you create your own custom task filters?
A: Currently there is no ability to create custom task filters. Those existing in the system would be used when needed.
Q: Can you delegate a task on the fly?
A: No – if a task is to be delegated, this must be set up from an administrative perspective in TW Admin under the Task Name Dictionary.
