Result Stage and Tasking

Overview

The creation of tasks for results (Verify Results and the Review Results tasks created by using the Routing List) is dependent on the Result Stage that is sent. This functionality varies from version to version of the Allscripts Enterprise EHR (formerly TouchWorks EHR).

Stages

• F - Final
• I - Preliminary (results are in, but not final)
• P - Pending (no results, just an acknowledgment that the test(s) are in process)
• A - Amended - Final results were later amended
• C - Corrected - Final results were later corrected

Tasking

For each of the versions below the Result Stages outlined have been confirmed to generate tasks (Verify and Review Results)
