Is there a way to add other icons to the top bar of the Clinical Desktop, such as New Task?
No
But a "New Task" button can be added to the bottom of any component of the Clinical Desktop
- Login as Administrator > TWAdmin > Work Def Admin
- Select the clinical desktop view to be modified from 'View' dropdown
- Click Add/Edit Clinical Desktop View
- From the appropriate component, select the tab on which the new button should be added
- Click 'Define Buttons'
- From the commands tab drag 'New Task' down into the buttons bar
