Q: Is the intended behavior to make a nurse enter a password when creating a new rx or is it optional? We can turn the Preference off, but want to know what is recommended.

Entering a password after prescribing a medication is not a part of the certified work flow for prescribing a med, However: Requiring a password at this point assures that it is your provider who is prescribing the medication and not someone who walked by a system your provider happened to be logged into.
