As an order is placed, it can be manually or automatically designated as needing financial authorization prior to becoming active.
Defaulting the Fin Auth Value
This field would most commonly be defaulted in via the SSMT Category OID - Order Defaults - Insurance. By populating the 'FinancialAuthorizationRequired' with "Needed", this orderable item will go to a 'Needs Info - Financial Authorization' status.
