Charge capture

Charge capture, or electronic charge capture, is the practice of using a software program to record and report on all procedures conducted by a medical provider during an encounter with a patient.

Within Touchworks, this is done through the Charge module. Users can enter charges either throught the Touchworks Web Application at their office or using their PDA while doing rounds in the hospital. See the Touchworks Beginner documentation for more information on the Charge module.
