V15.1 summary of Immunization Enhancements.

Show Age option

Enables the user to choose whether to display the patient's age at the time the immunization was administered. The patient age is displayed in years, in parentheses (34), and displays after the immunization date. Show Age is selected by default, but if the check box is cleared for an individual patient, that setting is retained for all patients.

Last Given option

Enables the user to choose whether to display the date that the immunization was last administered. Last Given is not selected by default, but if the check box is cleared for an individual patient, that setting is retained for all patients.

Total number of immunizations administered

Enables the user to view the total number of immunizations administered for a patient in the Immunization Series grid at a glance without having to scroll through the list. The number is displayed in parentheses (3) next to the immunization name. Community data immunizations are included in the count before they are imported.

Updated Tip Tool with standard format and patient age

The tool tip information that displays when you point to and hover over an immunization entry has been updated to reflect a standard format and to include age.

New functionality to allow for printing or faxing of immunizations from the immunization series view

Once the Print and Fax button commands are added to the toolbar in the view, users can print a single immunization, an immunization list, or the entire immunization flowsheet contents. Also, they can be faxed to a provider or a referring provider.
