Reconcile v10 Outstanding Tasks with V11 Task/Worklist Items

Many providers may have old tasks in their system that are no longer applicable. In order to have worklists ready to go for go-live, these providers may want to clean out any tasks that are older than a certain age. For Example, you may want to remove all verify result tasks older than 3 months old. This will clean up their worklists, so it's more feasible for them to start working tasks on go-live date.

• If users do not complete tasks in v10 the the system automatically removes them from the tasklist and or worklist after a period of time. Because the tasks were never actually completed they will reappear on the user's tasklist / worklist on Go-Live Monday.

1. One way to identify items that need to be cleaned up is to have users who know their task list looking at them in test. If they see items that look like they shouldn’t be there because they are old then they might need to be cleaned up.
2. Another way to identify items that need to be cleaned up is to compare Live and test for several providers (Choose providers that are likely to have a lot of incomplete items and/or who would be particularly sensitive to a lot of old item reappearing)

This is an optional step, but highly recommended if you have a lot of unreconciled tasks in your system. If you have old tasks you would like removed, then:

1. Contact your UC with the criteria that you want to use.
2. The Upgrade team can write a script to run to clean up these tasks
3. The script will be tested in the test environment.
4. The script will be run on go live weekend.
