  1. Export Mappings
  2. Import Mappings
  3. System - Update Comm/Misc tab
    • Confirm that the communication tab has the correct info for the new environment -- IPs&Ports, ODBCs, File locations, etc
  4. System - Review Logging
    • Recommended: 90 days for all.
  5. System - Update Ext IDs, and Names (if applicable)
  6. Mapping - Confirm that switches are correct
    • Most applicable to results interfaces.
  7. Mapping - ODBCs
    • Ensure all ODBCs in the mapping point to the correct server and database.
  8. Mapping - Interface Source IDs
    • Documentation of Current State for Go-Live
  9. T-Tables - Review all T-Tables associated with Mapping
    • You can see which T-Tables are associated by reviewing the printed copy of the mapping and searching for "Table". Review each of these to confirm that values that they contain are correct.
  10. Scripts - Review all Scripts associated with Mapping
    • You can see which Scripts are associated by reviewing the printed copy of the mapping and searching for "Script". Review each of these to confirm that the script is correctly configured for the new environment -- particularly if the ODBC Data Source is defined within the script.
  11. System Definitions - Review all system defs
    • Ensure that the Names Descriptions are appropriate - e.g. if the Name is "Test - Lab Results Source" and you're moving this to live, update it to say "Live - Lab Results Source".
  12. Message Definitions - Review all message defs
    • Ensure that the Descriptions are appropriate - e.g. if the Description is ""v11.1.1 - Test"" and you're moving this to live, update it to say ""v11.1.1 - Live"". If there are already message definitions for the same message type (e.g. FileResult_CMS), use the existing ones. Do this by adding the existing Message Def to your System Def, copying the Mapping, removing the original mapping, the removing the imported Message Def from your System Def."
  13. Review Mappings - Re-Map any mappings with "FieldOrder not found"
    • Review each mapping and ensure that "FieldOrder not found" does not show in any fields being mapped. If it does, you will need to clear out the mapping and manually recreate the mapping.
  14. System Definitions - Review all system defs
    • Ensure that the Names Descriptions are appropriate - e.g. if the Name is "Test - Lab Results Source" and you're moving this to live, update it to say "Live - Lab Results Source".
  15. T-Tables - Review all T-Tables associated with Mapping
    • Ensure all Table lookups reference a real table name. You should see the table name, e.g. "Table VerifyingProviders(PV1-[7]-Attending Doctor)". If you see something like "Table (PV1-[7]-Attending Doctor)" where the Table name is missing you will need to clear the field's mapping and manually recreate it.
  16. Customizations - Review and Move
    • Any custom stored procedures, SQL jobs, Windows Scheduled Tasks, etc should be reviewed and moved to production.
  17. Mapping - Print->Export as XLS (preferred) or PDF
    • Documentation of Current State for Go-Live
