Description

The Performing Location SSMT content category is used to populate the Requested Performing Location (RPL) dictionary. This dictionary is used to house all the locations to which orders are sent or to be performed for orderable items.

SSMT Column Descriptions

  • EntryCode - The Code is the unique identifier assigned to each RPL entry. This is not displayed in the product and is used for identification purposes only.
  • EntryName - The Name is the descriptive identifier of the RPL. This should be unique to prevent confusion.
  • EntryMnemonic - The Mnemonic is the abbreviated identifier of the entry. This does not appear in the product and unless you have another use for it, the recommendation would be to make this the same as the code.
  • IsInactive - (Y/N) The inactive flag allows you to inactivate or hide an entry. If an item is inactivated, users would not have the ability to select the allergen in the future, although any patients with the allergen defined would remain viewable.
  • IsEnforced - The enforced flag designates whether a dictionary item is required and cannot be changed. In most cases, this comes predefined by Allscripts and should not be selected for new entries. If an entry is enforced, it cannot be modified or inactivated.
  • LMRP - This identifies the Local Medical Review Policy payor selected from the Payor Lookup List form for the RPL entry. The payor determines the rules of medical necessity that are used by Enterprise when an item is ordered and the RPL is selected to perform the order.
  • AddressLine1 - The first line of the street address or post office box for the RPL.
  • AddressLine2 - The second line of the street address or post office box for the RPL
  • City - The city of the RPL.
  • State - The state of the RPL.
  • ZipCode - the zip code of the RPL.
  • PhoneArea - Area code of the RPL phone number.
  • PhoneExchange - Exchange of the RPL phone number.
  • PhoneLast4 - Last four digits of the RPL phone number.
  • PhoneExtension - Extension of the RPL phone number.
  • FaxArea - Area code of the RPL fax number.
  • FaxExchange - Exchange of the RPL fax number.
  • FaxLast4 - Last four digits of the RPL fax number.
  • Custom1 - Can be used for entering additional information about the organization sending the order and/or the RPL performing the order. This data does not appear in Enterprise EHR, but can appear on customized order requisitions.
  • Custom2 - Same as Custom1.
  • Custom3 - Same as Custom1.
  • Custom4 - Same as Custom1.
  • Custom5 - Same as Custom1.
  • Communication Method Entryname - The communication method that should be the default for the Communicated By control when the RPL entry is selected from the To Be Performed control in the Order Entry tab of the Order Details form. Note: Once an option is selected and saved, the value cannot revert back to no option selected.
  • Source Entryname -
  • TransmitInterval - Determines when the order that is to be performed is transmitted to the RPL. When a number other than 0 (zero) is entered, then that value is the number days prior to the To Be Done date in the Order Entry tab of the Order Details form that the order is transmitted to the RPL. When the value is 0 (zero) or there is no value, then the transmittance of the order is determined by the Effective date in that form.
