Q: Will passwords change on Go-Live Monday?

Question

Can you please tell us if the passwords will change for the users on go live weekend. What user set up items will import on go live weekend? I am assuming this will be new worklists, workspaces, and desktops.


Answer

On Go-Live Monday, the passwords associated with your users will be maintained. Even though you will be loading the User/Provider SSMT spreadsheet, this will not affect the passwords in your production system. There has been a security feature added that encrypts passwords on the SSMT User/Provider Spreadsheet, and it is not possible to change the password of a user via SSMT.

Users will have the same password on Go-Live Monday that they had in V10 on Friday.
