Q: Is it possible to setup a pass-thru mapping with XML data in ConnectR? I have set this up, but no data is hitting the pass-thru target.

ConnectR does not handle XML pass-thrus well and as such a work-around solution is need:

  • Create the following Post-Processor Script:

  • Change the Pass-Thru Target Message Protocol to be "Generic Variable Without Segments"

  • For each mapping from the Source to the Pass-Thru target:
    • Change the Mapping Type from "Pass" to "Map"
    • Change the Script type to "Post Script"
    • Change the Script to be "XML Pass"

  • Save changes and restart Pass-Thru Target
