Description

The Content Management Tool (CMT) is an Allscripts provided tool that allows clinics to move large amounts of data from one environment to another for example from Test to Live. Three common uses are:

  1. To move clinical desktop views from test to live
  2. To move Enterprise Careguides from test to live
  3. To move Noteforms and/or Note templates from test to live

This tool should be used by a person who understands how to use it and you should be sure to follow the Allscripts documented process when utilizing the tool.

    Warning:
Ensure that you complete a database SQL Backup prior to moving any data via CMT.
The tool is pretty robust, but human error or program bugs could create a mess.
Completing a backup first takes only a few minutes and could save hours of time if something does happen.
